The Kaiser’s Summer Residence

Once you have found your way to Bad Ischl it simply isn’t possible to pass the famous Zauner cake shop with out going in for a cup of coffee or tea and a delicious piece of creamy gateaux or an Austrian pastry.
Operettas and More in Bad Ischl
From the beginning of July to the beginning of September the Lehár Festival is a real attraction for friends of the Operetta. In addition to the famous “Fledermaus” by Johann Strauß Sohn, Franz Lehárs “Giuditta” and a series of concerts will also be performed. The “Shake the Lake” event is a different kettle of fish altogether! This international Boogie’n’Blues Festival rocks the concert halls in Bad Ischl in May.
