In 2000 the overregional popular 'Gut Aiderbichl' was founded. The 'Gut' is an animal sanctuary of a special kind, which introduces the stories of many rescued animals to the visitor. More than 1000 animals live now under the protection of Gut Aiderbichl. Those animals were all saved from the shambles.
Additionally it is a place where mentally ill and disabled kids can make therapies with the help of horses, cows, pigs, rabbits, geese, donkeys,...
How to get there:
Drive towards Hof, then to Thalgau - important: do not turn right to Thalgau, but go straight towards Henndorf - just follow the signs for Gut Aiderbichl.
