For the third time, the Mondsee 5-Seen-Radmarathon has been chosen to be the most popular bike marathon in Middle Europe. Who participated once knows why. The Mondsee 5-Seen-Radmarathon is just excellent!
The routes of the Mondsee 5-Seen-Radmarathon
The Mondsee 5-Seen-Radmarathon let the hearts of ambitious road biker beat faster. The route leads to Lake Wolfgang and branches off at Strobl for the first ascent. With 12% incline the 12 km long route leads to the Postalm. Once arrived, you can look forward to the route section, leading downhill to Abtenau. After a smooth short piece it goes up the hill again, crossing the Pass Gschütt, who leads to the Lake Hallstättersee. The next challenge is the route via the Großalmstraße to the shores of Lake Attersee. After that, you only have to pass one more mountain at Nussdorf and then the goal, Lake Mondsee, is not far away. Next to the Mondsee 5-Seen-Radmarathon (Tour A), which is 200km long, the organizer of the event offers three more routes:
- 4-Lakes-Tour B: 140 km, 900m difference in altitude
- 3-Lakes-Tour C: 80 km, 300m difference in altitude
- ORF Radio Upper Austria Family Tour (Tour D): 25km, slight difference in altitude
